It took me about 7 evenings, but I finally finished reading every one of Query Shark's posts. Wow, I was so far off the mark of what I needed to put in my query it's not even funny.
As I read I simultaneously wrote my own query letter. I'm on my 3rd draft so far and I think I'm ready to be critiqued. Bring it on! (as that little voice of doubt inside my head tells me to cower and run away) Now it's time to submit it to a few websites and get some feedback. I'm sure it'll change over time. Maybe once I get some feedback I'll have the courage to send it to the shark tank.
